X-Ray Technologist (On-site)
Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging to support clinical decisions while prioritizing patient safety, comfort, and accurate results. Conduct patient assessment and proper positioning, operate imaging equipment, and ensure radiation protection in compliance with established safety standards.
Evaluate images for quality, maintain high documentation accuracy by recording exams in EHR/PACS, and collaborate with nursing staff, radiologists, and providers to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.
Key Duties
- Prepare and assess patients; ensure safe, accurate positioning
- Operate radiology equipment to obtain diagnostic-quality images
- Apply radiation protection practices and follow safety protocols
- Review and validate image quality
- Document exam details thoroughly in EHR/PACS
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team
Qualifications & Skills
- Proficiency in diagnostic radiography and patient handling
- Strong understanding of radiation safety and infection control principles
- Ability to produce and assess diagnostic-quality images
- Accurate, detail-oriented documentation in EHR/PACS
- Empathetic communication and teamwork in a diverse care environment
