Role Overview:
Provides comprehensive patient care in a Wound Care Center, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.
Promotes patient and family-centered care by educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use.
Participates in activities to ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, as well as ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families, ensuring clear communication across care continuum.
- Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, cultural, spiritual, and population-specific factors.
- Supports a safe environment, working alertly and responsibly as a safety-sensitive position.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational requirements include an RN license with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; a Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience are preferred.
- No prior experience or supervisory experience required; previous wound care experience is a plus.
