Role: Acute Care Virtual Quality Support Nurse (RN)
Enhance patient safety and quality from a centralized virtual setting by supporting acute care clinicians through remote monitoring and documentation review.
Key Duties
- Remotely monitor acute care patients and identify potential risks or quality issues.
- Review clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with care protocols.
- Partner with bedside teams to ensure adherence to core measures and safety standards.
- Identify variances from expected outcomes and escalate concerns appropriately.
- Support real-time problem-solving and promote consistent quality improvement practices.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams using EHR and telehealth tools.
Qualifications & Skills
- Current RN licensure with experience in acute care nursing.
- Strong clinical judgment for risk identification and variance recognition.
- Proficiency with advanced EHR and telehealth/virtual communication tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with bedside teams.
