Role Overview:
The Full-Time Registered Vascular Sonographer performs diagnostic vascular ultrasound examinations on adult and pediatric patients. Key responsibilities include conducting venous, arterial, abdominal, carotid, and thoracic studies, ensuring proper documentation, and maintaining equipment readiness. The role may involve performing vascular procedures, on-call duties, portable exams, and working at multiple sites. The sonographer independently operates ultrasound equipment, adhering to safety and quality standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher)
- ARDMS or CCI registered RVS or RVT certification
- Preferred: 2+ years experience in vascular ultrasound
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to perform vascular imaging and procedures independently
- Strong knowledge of vascular sonography techniques and equipment
