This position is for a licensed physician within the Clinical Services: Provider department, responsible for independently diagnosing and treating acute conditions such as infections, injuries, and minor illnesses in both adult and pediatric patients.
Requires graduation from an accredited medical school, 2-5 years of post-residency clinical experience, and Board Certification or eligibility in Family or Emergency Medicine.
Must have active medical licensure and relevant experience in urgent care or emergency settings, including procedures like suturing and splinting.
Key duties include patient examinations, diagnostics, treatment, prescribing medications, documenting clinical notes, patient education, vaccinations, and supervising PA/NP providers remotely.
Work shifts are typically 8 or 12 hours, with responsibilities also including acting as a collaborating physician for PA/NPs during credentialing.
Strong communication, customer service skills, and EMR experience are preferred.
