Board Certification or Eligibility in Family or Emergency Medicine and active state licensure are mandatory. Responsibilities include patient exams, histories, diagnostics, diagnoses, prescribing medications, treating injuries, documenting, patient education, and supervising PA/NP providers remotely. Work shifts are typically 8 or 12 hours, with up to four PA/NPs under supervision. Strong communication, listening skills, and experience with EMRs are preferred.
