This role is for a Physician in a Clinical Services: Provider department, primarily responsible for independently diagnosing and treating acute conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu symptoms, minor injuries, and infections.
Requires graduation from an accredited medical school, 2-5 years of post-residency clinical experience, and active licensure in the state.
Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine is mandatory.
Preferred experience includes Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine settings, with skills in procedures like suturing and splinting.
Key duties involve patient examinations, medical history taking, diagnostics, prescribing medications, treating minor injuries, documenting notes, patient education, vaccinations, and referrals.
Will supervise PA/NPs remotely and act as a Collaborating Physician for up to four PAs/NPs during credentialing.
Work shifts are typically 8 or 12 hours, with all other duties as assigned. Strong communication, listening, and customer service skills are essential.
