Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in an acute-care imaging department.
Key duties:
- Position patients and ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Conduct and support ultrasound examinations across the full scope of acute-care imaging needs.
- Process ultrasound images and transmit them to PACS for radiologist interpretation.
- Maintain technical proficiency and consistent image quality throughout exams.
Role requirements:
- Proficiency in ultrasound exam performance, patient positioning, and equipment operation.
- Ability to process and accurately transmit imaging data to PACS.
- Strong attention to image quality, safety, and clinical workflow in an acute-care setting.
