Weekend Ultrasound Technician
Provide diagnostic ultrasound imaging using advanced technology to create detailed images supporting clinical decision-making across a range of specialties.
- Operate ultrasound equipment and perform patient examinations according to established protocols
- Prepare patients for imaging, ensure comfort and safety, and maintain appropriate positioning
- Capture high-quality images and document findings for interpretation by the medical team
- Maintain proper infection control and follow safety procedures
- Monitor equipment performance, maintain cleanliness, and report issues as needed
- Collaborate with clinicians to support accurate, timely diagnostic outcomes
Qualifications
- Registered/credentialed ultrasound technician (or equivalent) with relevant imaging experience
- Strong knowledge of ultrasound procedures and anatomy
- Detail-oriented with the ability to produce consistent, high-quality images
- Excellent patient care, communication, and teamwork skills
