Role Overview:
Seeking a Full-Time Breast Sonographer (RDMS) to perform ultrasound imaging for diagnosis and treatment, including vascular imaging if qualified. Responsibilities include ensuring equipment readiness, conducting independent ultrasound studies, and documenting procedures. The role may involve on-call, portable exams, and work at various sites.
Qualifications & Skills:
- RDMS or equivalent certification is required; mammography and breast ultrasound experience are highly preferred.
- Ideal candidates may have backgrounds as Breast Sonographers, Ultrasound Technologists, or Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (Breast Specialty).
- Preferred qualifications include at least 2 years of experience, CPR certification, and RDCS or similar credentials.
- Educational background of an Associate degree or trade school equivalent.
Key Duties:
- Perform ultrasound examinations independently, including on-call and portable exams.
- Maintain proper equipment function and documentation.
- Assist with needle procedures such as biopsies and drainages.
Additional Information:
- Day shift, Monday to Friday, with minimal holidays and possibly two Saturday shifts with extra pay.
