This full-time position involves developing and implementing individual and group interventions for reintegration and substance abuse treatment. The specialist conducts evaluations using evidence-based tools, manages case and treatment plans, and delivers evidence-based programming to support participants’ success in completing program requirements.
Salary ranges from $29.94 to $34.34 per hour, with potential add-on pay based on credentials. A sign-on bonus of up to $2,000 may be available for eligible candidates without prior state employment in the past five years.
Applicants must hold or be eligible for a Substance Abuse Counselor credential issued by the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services, with a requirement to obtain the SAC-IT credential within 12 months if pending.
