Position: Registered Nurse – Treatment at a cancer center
Location: Evanston Hospital/Kellogg Cancer Center
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week, 4 days of 10-hour shifts, no weekends or holidays
Responsibilities include:
- Providing safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for cancer patients
- Utilizing the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Administering chemotherapy, medications, and blood products
- Guiding and supervising unlicensed assistive personnel
- Collaborating with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Promoting safety and high-quality patient experiences
Qualifications:
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred)
- CPR certification issued by American Heart Association
- Experience in oncology or outpatient infusion preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
