Position: Registered Nurse – Treatment, in an outpatient cancer center setting.
Location: Evanston Hospital/Kellogg Cancer Center.
Responsibilities: Provide safe, compassionate nursing care independently, utilizing the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Administer chemotherapy, medications, and blood products. Supervise and collaborate with unlicensed assistive personnel and the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Contribute to safety and high-quality patient experiences.
Qualifications: Current Illinois RN licensure and Associate’s degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred). CPR certification required; OCN/ONS certification preferred. Oncology or outpatient infusion experience is desirable.
Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, and clinical skills. Ability to guide team members and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
