Travel Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) – Gen/Vascular
Role and Responsibilities:
– Perform high-frequency sound wave imaging of internal organs and blood vessels
– Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and safety
– Conduct general and vascular ultrasound examinations, analyze sonograms for diagnosis
– Evaluate image quality and adjust equipment accordingly
– Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment
– Collaborate with healthcare teams to integrate imaging into patient care
– Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to safety and regulatory standards
– Demonstrate knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
– Work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining professionalism
Qualifications and Skills:
– Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program
– Minimum one year of recent ultrasound experience
– Current BLS certification and valid ultrasound license
– Preferred: ARDMS or ARRT certification
– Critical thinking, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
– Physical ability to move and operate equipment
– Ability to work under pressure, with attention to detail and flexibility
