We are seeking a skilled CVOR Registered Nurse to provide specialized cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgical care.
Responsibilities include:
Preparing the operating room and assembling necessary equipment, supplies, and medications
Collaborating with surgical team members to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
Positioning patients safely and following sterile procedures throughout surgery
Monitoring and supporting patients during and after procedures, including post-surgical care coordination
Responding to intraoperative emergencies and ensuring regulatory and safety standards are maintained
Qualifications and skills required:
Minimum one year recent CVOR RN experience
Valid RN license and current BLS certification
Critical thinking, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
Physical ability to perform duties, including patient handling and equipment movement
Ability to work under pressure, follow instructions, and maintain attention to detail
Preferred qualifications: ACLS certification and additional licenses or certifications as needed.
