We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide advanced respiratory care for patients with pulmonary and critical illnesses. Responsibilities include collaborating with physicians to develop treatment plans, performing diagnostic tests, administering therapies, monitoring equipment, documenting patient progress, and educating patients and families. The role requires independent assessment and treatment, working effectively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum one year of recent experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- RRT credential from the NBRC
- Valid respiratory therapy license per state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred certifications include ACLS or PALS, with additional licenses as needed. Key skills include critical thinking, strong communication, technical proficiency, physical stamina, and the ability to work under pressure.
