We are seeking an experienced Post Anesthesia Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing post-anesthesia care to patients in a Level I Trauma and Stroke Certified facility.
- Ensuring patient safety and comfort during recovery.
- Monitoring vital signs and managing patient needs post-surgery.
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality care.
Qualifications and skills required:
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Proven experience in post-anesthesia or critical care nursing.
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Key duties include:
- Providing specialized patient care in the PACU setting.
- Monitoring patient recovery and responding promptly to changes.
- Documenting patient progress and coordinating with medical staff.
