Role: The Med Surg RN provides high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units, assessing patient conditions, administering treatments, and collaborating with healthcare teams.
Responsibilities: Explain procedures, monitor patient health, prepare patients for diagnostics, manage medications, document care, ensure safety and infection control, advocate for patient needs, facilitate discharge planning, and support a safe environment.
Qualifications: At least one year of recent Med Surg RN experience, valid RN license, and current BLS certification. Preferred certifications include NIHSS and ACLS.
