Role Overview: An Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) provides high-quality, rapid-response patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on severity
- Administer medications and treatments per protocols
- Assist physicians during emergency procedures
- Monitor patient safety, comfort, and vital signs
- Document assessments and interventions accurately in electronic medical records
- Educate patients and families about treatments and care plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Follow safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
Qualifications & Skills:
- One year of recent ER RN experience
- Valid RN license and current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC
- Strong clinical, critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to perform required tasks and work effectively under pressure
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and using PC systems
