Role: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care and support to women before, during, and after delivery.
- Monitor vital signs of mother and newborn during labor and delivery.
- Assess patients for high-risk conditions.
- Educate and support mothers and families postpartum.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Active RN license and degree from an accredited nursing program.
- Recent (minimum 18 months) experience in an acute care labor and delivery setting.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and AWHONN.
- Additional requirements as determined by the client facility.
Key Duties: Ensure the medical and emotional needs of patients are met, monitor mother and baby during labor, identify high-risk issues, and provide postpartum education and support.
