Role: ICU Registered Nurse responsible for providing comprehensive critical care in a high-acuity setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, monitor, and respond to critically ill patients’ conditions
- Administer advanced medications and treatments
- Operate life-support and advanced monitoring equipment
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and emotional well-being
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize care
- Educate patients and families about treatments and recovery
- Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures and adhere to safety protocols
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications & Skills:
- Recent ICU experience of at least one year
- Valid RN license and current BLS/ACLS certifications
- Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to assist with equipment and patient mobility
- Ability to work under pressure, follow instructions, and maintain confidentiality
