Role: The Travel CT Tech operates CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images, prepares and positions patients, and collaborates with radiologists to obtain high-quality images. They ensure safety protocols, maintain equipment, document procedures, and provide compassionate patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Operate CT equipment and set technical parameters for accurate imaging
- Prepare, explain procedures to patients, and ensure their safety
- Provide images for radiologist interpretation while adhering to safety standards
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Document patient information and procedural details accurately
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services
- Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols as needed
Qualifications & Skills:
- One year of recent CT technologist experience
- Valid Radiology license and current BLS certification
- Critical thinking, strong communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to handle equipment and assist with procedures
- Proficiency in reading instructions, PC skills, and visual acuity
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and with diverse teams
