We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech to assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in a hospital setting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing patients and equipment for procedures such as cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and stent placement
- Assisting physicians during procedures by passing instruments and operating imaging and monitoring equipment
- Maintaining sterile technique and ensuring patient safety
- Operating and maintaining specialized imaging and hemodynamic systems
- Performing sheath removal and documentation of procedures and equipment logs
- Managing inventory, supplies, and adhering to safety and infection control protocols
Qualifications and skills required:
- One year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
- Current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certifications
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to move equipment and work in high-pressure environments
- Proficiency in reading instructions, documentation, and using PC systems
- Visual acuity and ability to work effectively with a team
Preferred qualifications include:
- Valid radiologic technologist license
- PALS or ENPC certifications
