Role Overview:
Performs diagnostic imaging procedures as a Sonographer to support disease diagnosis and treatment, following radiology standards. No call responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates expertise in radiologic principles, selecting appropriate techniques and positioning for optimal results.
- Develops and implements procedure and treatment plans aligned with hospital protocols.
- Completes accurate documentation in compliance with policies.
- Maintains equipment and work areas in a safe, clean condition.
- Participates in performance improvement activities to ensure quality patient care.
- Achieves assigned goals effectively.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Recent Sonographer experience preferred.
- Registrations with ARDMS or RVT required; new graduates must obtain registry within 120 days.
- BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
- Basic computer literacy skills.
