Role: LPN or Operating Room Technician in a collaborative academic medical setting, supporting safe and efficient surgical care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating room spaces for procedures.
- Set up, manage, and maintain surgical instruments and equipment.
- Maintain strict sterile technique and support infection control.
- Assist surgeons and RNs during procedures.
- Monitor, document, and communicate patient status as directed.
- Support pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
- Use advanced technology and evidence-based practices to promote quality outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Appropriate licensure/certification as an LPN and/or OR Technician credentials.
- Strong understanding of sterile processing and surgical workflows.
- Ability to assist in procedures and respond to changing intraoperative needs.
- Excellent attention to detail, patient-focused care, and teamwork in a learning environment.
- Competence with monitoring and accurate documentation.
