Role Summary: Serve as a Registered Nurse in a stepdown setting, delivering high-quality care for patients who require close monitoring and complex nursing interventions between ICU and med-surg levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
- Provide and interpret cardiac and telemetry monitoring.
- Administer medications safely and accurately.
- Coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team to support optimal outcomes.
- Mentor patients and families and promote compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Support safe transitions of care across care levels.
- Engage in ongoing education and professional development to strengthen clinical practice.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Current RN licensure.
- Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills.
- Proficiency with telemetry/cardiac monitoring and complex nursing interventions.
- Medication administration expertise and attention to patient safety.
- Effective communication, teamwork, and collaboration with healthcare professionals.
- Ability to educate and guide patients and families.
