Seeking an orthopedic spine surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor for a part-time role. The position involves treating patients on-site for approximately 4 hours weekly or biweekly, complementing your current practice with flexible scheduling.
Responsibilities include managing medically complex cases, facilitating return to work, and providing both surgical and non-surgical orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal care. Collaboration with medical and therapy teams and active case management are essential.
Qualifications:
- Experience with work-related injuries preferred
- Licensed to practice in your state
- Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program
- Unrestricted DEA license
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Orthopedic Spine Surgery
- Medical Malpractice Insurance coverage required
