Seeking an orthopedic spine surgeon to join as a 1099 independent contractor for a part-time onsite role. This position involves treating patients during approximately a 4-hour shift weekly or biweekly, complementing your current practice.
Responsibilities include managing medically complex cases, facilitating return to work, and providing both surgical and non-surgical care for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries. Collaboration with medical and therapy providers and active case management are essential.
Qualifications include experience with work-related injuries, state licensure, MD or DO degree, unrestricted DEA license, and board certification or eligibility in orthopedic spine surgery. Must have malpractice insurance coverage.
