Key responsibilities include:
Evaluating and diagnosing communication and swallowing issues through assessments and testing. Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans, conducting therapy, and counseling patients and families. Collaborating with healthcare teams, educators, and other professionals to coordinate care. Maintaining accurate documentation, participating in training, and contributing to research and education efforts. Supporting quality improvement initiatives and building positive relationships with patients and staff. Qualifications include a current Texas license, BLS certification, and expertise in assessment and treatment techniques. Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and a commitment to patient safety are essential.
