Speech Therapist

We are seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide evaluation, treatment, and education for residents with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing setting.

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for residents.
  • Conduct swallowing assessments and recommend dietary textures.
  • Provide direct therapy, document progress, and modify treatments as needed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
  • Educate residents, families, and staff on communication and swallowing strategies.
  • Supervise assistants and students; maintain compliance with regulations.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, a valid state license, and preferred CCC-SLP certification. Experience in geriatrics or skilled nursing is advantageous.
