Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate residents for swallowing and cognitive deficits
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to improve cognition and swallowing
- Educate residents, caregivers, and staff on therapy goals and techniques
- Provide AAC systems for severe communication disorders
- Coordinate diagnostic procedures (MBSS, FEES) with professionals
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and billing
- Respond promptly to family concerns and collaborate with care teams
- Ensure resident safety and confidentiality, adhering to legal standards
Requirements:
- Active Texas license and current ASHA Certification
- Good standing with regulatory agencies
