Responsibilities include evaluating residents for swallowing and cognitive deficits, developing personalized treatment plans, providing therapy and AAC systems, and educating residents, families, and staff. The role involves coordinating diagnostic procedures, maintaining documentation, and ensuring resident safety and confidentiality.
Requirements include an active Texas license, current ASHA certification, and good standing with regulatory agencies.
