Speech Language Pathologist (School based)

This full-time Speech Language Pathologist position offers a $4,000 joining bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including paid school holidays, federal holidays, health insurance (medical, dental, vision, life, supplemental), paid time off, sick leave, 401K, tuition reimbursement, and a health savings account. The role is based on a 10-month schedule (August–May).

The SLP will collaborate with OTs, PTs, and other professionals to serve K-12+ students with developmental disabilities and AAC users in educational settings. Key responsibilities include providing direct and consultative speech therapy, evaluating students, developing individualized plans, programming and maintaining augmentative communication devices, participating in multidisciplinary teams and IEP meetings, monitoring student progress, and maintaining accurate documentation for Medicaid billing.

Qualifications include a Master’s Degree, valid Arizona SLP certification and license, Fingerprint Clearance Card, and ability to obtain Medicaid credentials. Preferred qualifications include AZ Hearing Screening certification. The work environment involves moderate to loud noise, with potential exposure to challenging behaviors. The annual salary is $90,000.
