This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position involves providing direct patient care to enhance speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing functions within a skilled nursing facility.
Evaluates and treats patients, develops treatment plans, communicates with families and interdisciplinary teams, and documents services accurately.
Supervises clinical staff, manages regulatory documentation, and participates in team conferences and patient education.
Utilizes current clinical knowledge, demonstrates safe working practices, and promotes professional development through ongoing education and peer collaboration.
Contributes to a positive facility culture by demonstrating professionalism, teamwork, and excellent customer service.
Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, 2-3 years of rehab experience preferred, CCC-SLP certification, and a valid license. Must be able to perform physical tasks related to patient care and hold current CPR certification if required.
