We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our senior living community in Whiting, NJ.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting hearing and speech/language examinations and evaluating test results
- Diagnosing speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing impairments
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Educating patients and families on communication strategies
- Documenting progress and maintaining client records
- Participating in team meetings and planning educational or intervention strategies
- Instructing clients in communication techniques such as sign language or lip reading
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited therapy program
- 3-5 years of related experience or equivalent
- Valid NJ Speech Therapist license
