This Speech-Language Pathologist position involves providing direct patient care to improve speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities within a skilled nursing facility setting.
Evaluate, develop, and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, documenting progress and adjusting interventions accordingly.Communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care and follow-up.Supervise and mentor assistant staff and other SLPs, ensuring safe and effective therapy delivery.Maintain accurate, outcome-oriented documentation in compliance with regulatory and billing standards, managing Medicare reviews and denials.Contribute to a positive facility culture by demonstrating professionalism, teamwork, and excellent customer service.Ensure safety practices are followed, maintain work areas and equipment, and adhere to safety protocols.Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, current licensure, CCC certification, and 2-3 years of rehab experience preferred.This full-time or part-time role offers competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for professional development.
