Speech-Language Pathologist

This Speech-Language Pathologist position involves providing direct patient care to improve speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities within a skilled nursing facility setting.

  • Evaluate, develop, and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, documenting progress and adjusting interventions accordingly.
  • Communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care and follow-up.
  • Supervise and mentor assistant staff and other SLPs, ensuring safe and effective therapy delivery.
  • Maintain accurate, outcome-oriented documentation in compliance with regulatory and billing standards, managing Medicare reviews and denials.
  • Contribute to a positive facility culture by demonstrating professionalism, teamwork, and excellent customer service.
  • Ensure safety practices are followed, maintain work areas and equipment, and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, current licensure, CCC certification, and 2-3 years of rehab experience preferred.
