Seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to diagnose and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing impairments in a senior living community.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing hearing and speech/language examinations and evaluating test results
- Diagnosing patients and developing personalized treatment plans
- Educating patients and families on communication strategies
- Maintaining detailed reports and documentation for evaluation, treatment, and administrative purposes
- Creating individual and group therapy activities
- Participating in meetings and planning educational and intervention sessions
- Teaching communication techniques such as sign language or lip reading
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited therapy program
- 3-5 years of related experience or equivalent
- Valid NJ Speech Therapist license
