Speech Language Pathologist

This position involves providing direct patient care as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a skilled nursing facility, focusing on maximizing patients’ speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop treatment plans, and obtain physician approvals.
  • Deliver individualized therapy, document services accurately, and communicate progress with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families.
  • Supervise clinical staff and contribute to professional development through education and peer collaboration.
  • Participate in team meetings, discharge planning, and educational activities to enhance patient outcomes and facility culture.
  • Ensure safety practices and maintain a safe work environment.

  • Qualifications include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, 2-3 years of rehab experience, licensure, and CPR certification. The role offers full-time or part-time hours with benefits, including health insurance and relocation assistance.
