Speech Language Pathologist

The Language, Speech and Hearing Specialist conducts assessments and develops individualized programs to support students with communication challenges. They collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, provide remediation through individual and group instruction, and assist students in succeeding within regular and special education settings.

They consult with staff, parents, and external agencies regarding students’ communicative needs, serve on IEP teams, and provide staff and parent training. The role involves maintaining compliance with regulations, keeping detailed records, and pursuing ongoing professional development.
