The Language, Speech and Hearing Specialist assesses and treats students with communication challenges to support their learning.
Conducts assessments, interprets results, and collaborates with teams to develop individualized educational plans (IEPs). Provides remediation through individual and group instruction, modifying approaches as needed. Serves as a resource for staff and parents, offering consultation and participating in IEP teams. Maintains compliance with regulations, keeps detailed records, and pursues ongoing professional development. Qualifications: California credential required.
Schedule & Compensation: Full-time/Part-time roles, $74,534–$123,774/year, with benefits including health, dental, vision, and continuing education.
Work Location: In person in San Jose, CA, with an 8-hour day, Monday to Friday.
