The Staff Speech Pathologist provides quality evaluations and treatments for patients with communication and/or swallowing disorders across all ages, under physician prescription.
Responsibilities include:
Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and dysphagia disorders
Managing programs related to communication disorders
Counseling patients, families, and caregivers
Developing and training on augmentative communication systems
Maintaining accurate documentation and discharge planning
Conducting staff in-service programs
Qualifications:
Master’s or doctoral degree, ASHA CCC, and State License
Preferred clinical fellowship experience or supervision
Excellent communication skills and knowledge of medical terminology
Experience with videofluoroscopic evaluations is a plus
Work Details:
Full-time, 40 hours/week, $37-$44/hour
