The Staff Speech Pathologist provides comprehensive evaluations and treatments for patients with communication and/or dysphagia disorders across all ages, under physician prescriptions.
Physical and special demands include strong communication skills, knowledge of medical terminology, and experience with videofluoroscopic evaluations.
Major duties involve diagnosing and rehabilitating speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive issues, developing augmentative communication systems, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Qualifications include a Master’s or doctoral degree, ASHA certification, and a valid state license. Preferred experience includes clinical fellowship completion.
