Speech-Language Pathologist

The Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is a licensed professional responsible for planning, implementing, and delivering speech therapy services to pediatric patients to promote positive outcomes.

  • They evaluate and treat speech, language, voice, swallow, and cognitive-communicative disorders using clinical observations, caregiver reports, and standardized tests.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate family values, clinical guidelines, and patient’s deficits.
  • Document progress, adjust goals, and provide therapy supporting sensory-motor, cognitive, psychological, and behavioral development.
  • Work in a pediatric-focused clinic delivering play-based therapy in a playful, engaging environment.

  • Requirements include a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, current Maryland or Delaware licensure, and full-time availability Monday to Friday. Compensation ranges from $78,769.60 to $122,116.80 annually.
