Sonographer (Radiology Technologist preferred) – Children’s Specialty Care Center

Role Overview

Seeking a Sonographer & Radiology Technologist to perform ultrasound imaging for pediatric patients, including abdominal, small parts, obstetrical, and vascular studies, supporting diagnosis and treatment. The role involves ensuring equipment readiness, conducting imaging exams independently, and documenting procedures accurately. May also assist with needle procedures such as biopsies and drainages, and perform portable or on-call studies as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper function and readiness of imaging equipment
  • Perform ultrasound examinations and document findings thoroughly
  • Conduct studies independently, including portable and after-hours exams

Qualifications & Skills

  • RDMS certification required; R.T. (R) preferred
  • Associate degree or equivalent training
  • Experience: No experience necessary; 2+ years preferred
  • Licenses & certifications: RDMS or equivalent; CPR; RDCS or equivalent preferred
