Role Overview:
This position is for a full-time Sonographer responsible for performing ultrasound imaging, including abdominal, small parts, obstetrical, and vascular studies, to support diagnosis and treatment. The role involves ensuring equipment readiness, conducting independent ultrasound examinations, and documenting procedures accurately. The sonographer may perform portable and on-call studies at various sites.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure proper function and readiness of ultrasound equipment.
- Perform ultrasound imaging and document procedures thoroughly.
- Conduct studies independently, including portable exams and on-call duties.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent trade schooling.
- Licensing as RDMS or equivalent; CPR certification preferred.
- Experience not required but 2+ years and RDCS certification are preferred.
- Ability to perform diagnostic imaging with accuracy and professionalism.
Skills & Key Duties:
- Operate ultrasound equipment effectively.
- Assist with needle procedures such as biopsies and drainages.
- Maintain high-quality patient care close to home.
