Senior Manager, International Tax

Role Overview:
Seeking a Senior Manager to lead international tax engagements, advise multinational enterprises on business decisions, tax planning, and cross-border strategies, and collaborate on mergers, acquisitions, and compliance matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide clients on optimal location, entity choices, supply chain strategies, and capital mobilization considering tax risk and global tax rates.
  • Develop and review complex tax models, provide global tax planning advice, and assist with tax provision preparation and compliance.
  • Support tax structuring for mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and IPOs, including drafting opinions and financial models.
  • Advise on international tax treaty opportunities related to cross-border investments and trading activities.
  • Assist with tax aspects in the alternative investment space across the investment lifecycle.

  • Qualifications and Skills:
  • Minimum of eight years’ experience in international, M&A, or federal tax planning.
  • Bachelor’s degree; professional credentials (CPA, EA, JD/LLM) or equivalent, with a one-year window to obtain required credentials if not held at hiring.
  • Deep knowledge of international and domestic tax laws, strong research, modeling, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements, develop client relationships, and mentor staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
