Provide age- and developmentally appropriate nursing care in a fast-paced cardiovascular intensive care unit, following unit standards of care and ensuring safe, high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient nursing care in collaboration with multidisciplinary hospital teams.
- Assess, monitor, and respond to changes in patient condition in a critical care environment.
- Apply evidence-based nursing practices and adhere to established protocols and unit standards.
- Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support continuity of treatment.
Qualifications & Skills
- Active Texas nursing license (or eligibility).
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- At least two years of RN experience.
- Strong clinical judgment, rapid assessment skills, and ability to perform in a fast-paced ICU setting.
- Effective communication and teamwork with multidisciplinary staff.
