Position: RN Weekender – Medical Pulmonary Unit
Location: Arlington Heights, IL
Type: Full time, 36 hours/week
Shift: Night shift (7:00pm – 7:30am), includes 4 weekend shifts per 2 weeks
Responsibilities include:
- Providing patient assessments and collecting health data involving patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Coordinating patient care plans to ensure interventions are safe, appropriate, and timely.
- Communicating effectively with patients and colleagues in person, via phone, and in writing.
- Individualizing patient and family education based on thorough assessments.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness.
- Maintaining current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate’s degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
- Current nursing license in Illinois.
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
