Position: Registered Nurse Triage (RN) for General Surgery Medical Group.
Location: Arlington Heights, IL.
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
Travel: Floating to surrounding offices for coverage.
Responsibilities: Under supervision, the Triage RN manages patient care via inbound and outbound calls, demonstrating strong customer service skills. Duties include phone triage, patient education, Continuous Glucose Monitor placement, testing, insurance pre-authorization, referrals, and maintaining exam rooms. The role involves assessing caller needs, providing acute and preventive interventions, and active problem-solving to support patient well-being.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Current Illinois RN licensure and CPR for Healthcare Providers.
- Office RN and BSN preferred.
- Ability to handle high-stress situations, be a self-starter, and communicate effectively in English.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, reach, climb, and lift up to 40 lbs.
